Graphene2020 – the 10th edition of Graphene Conference series – will start in a few days, October 19-23, 2020. This is the largest European Event in Graphene and 2D Materials, and a main meeting point of the graphene community worldwide.
Because of the on-going COVID-19 pandemics, the conference will be a fully virtual event, featuring plenary sessions, focused workshops, industrial forums, an exhibition, and several students’ parallel tracks.
The Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center will be well represented at this major event by Satender Kataria (Chair for Electronic Devices, RWTH), Luca Banszerus, Jens Sonntag and Christoph Stampfer (II Institute of Physcis, RWTH), and by Zhenxing Wang (AMO GmbH).
Kataria is one of the invited speakers of Workshop 1 (Oct. 20), and will speak about devices based on graphene/silicon heterostructures. Banszerus will present the latest results of the Stampfer Group on tunable few-electron quantum dots in bilayer graphene (Plenary session on Oct. 19), while Sonntag and Stampfer will discuss the potential of hexagonal Boron Nitride grown ad atmospheric pressure (Workshop 5 on Oct. 21). Finally, Wang will participate to the industrial forum on Oct. 21, discussing the progresses and outlooks of the wafer-scale integration of graphene.
AMO will be also present with a (virtual) stand at the exhibition. The full program of the conference can be downloaded here.
